Course Description

The Lord in His mercy and love has gifted us with language. In order to utilize His gift to the best to our ability, we must learn to write with nuance.

In this course, students will be taught that dependent clauses and prepositional phrases are not things to be feared, but tools to be used to create more complex sentences!

Each week, in a live class, the instructor will introduce the building blocks of dependent clauses, independent clauses, or prepositional phrases. Then he will teach the students how to incorporate them into their writing. For homework, students will complete worksheets covering the material learned in class.

This course will work well either as an introduction to phrases and clauses or a review for those who need more practice. This course can also serve as a natural next step from the Fundamentals of Grammar: The Sentence course.
